¿Qué verbo se emplea en inglés para referirnos a prendas de vestir? ¿Será el verbo use? Pues no. Eso significaría que lo estás usando para algo, pero nunca que lo llevas puesto.
En inglés el verbo que se emplea para expresar uso de ropas, prendas, ya sea relojes, sombrero, pañuelos, etc, es WEAR. Así se dice en inglés: (NOTICE)

The woman is wearing a red dress. |  |
Si quieres saber lo que usa un amiguito para alguna acitividad, preguntarás: WHAT DO YOU WEAR FOR the beach/ the winter / a party? Si necesitas identificar a una amiguita y no sabes cómo está vestida dirás: WHAT IS SHE WEARING?
